Thirst for Acting

My journey into the world of acting began with a whirlwind of activity, immersing myself in local theatre productions and diving headfirst into the realm of short films alongside students and budding filmmakers. Amidst the hustle and bustle, a pivotal moment arrived when a local filmmaker offered me a role in his debut feature film, 'Follow the Crows.' This experience ignited a fire within me, solidifying my resolve to pursue screen acting with unwavering determination.

Since then, I've embraced a myriad of projects, each presenting its own unique challenges and opportunities for growth. However, one unforgettable milestone stands out—my audition for a lead role in a feature film adaptation of the renowned Henry Ibsen play, 'The Lady From The Sea.' As I stood among hundreds of talented actors, the anticipation was palpable. Walking away from that audition, I carried with me a sense of optimism, a feeling that I had left an impression.

The thrill of receiving the call from the director, offering me the role of Arnholm, remains etched in my memory as one of life's most cherished moments. The joy I felt was amplified by the pride radiating from my father upon hearing the news—a moment that encapsulated the beginning of my professional acting career.

Filming in Norway for 'The Lady From The Sea (aka Ellida)' was an unforgettable whirlwind, fueling my passion for the craft and leaving me yearning for more. However, life's unpredictable twists soon followed, with the sudden death of my father; my mind derailed. I was lost. I was in the midst of moarning when the onset of the global Covid-19 pandemic impacted life as we knew it. In the face of adversity, my passion for performance only grew stronger, serving as a beacon of light amidst dark times.

Today, my commitment to screen acting burns brighter than ever. I thrive in the dynamic environment of film sets, fueled by an unwavering desire to contribute to meaningful productions alongside like-minded creatives. Each opportunity to immerse myself in a project I believe in reaffirms my dedication to pursuing my dreams—for myself and for my family. In this life, nothing brings me greater fulfillment than the pursuit of my passion on the silver screen.
